Can I disassemble my pool table myself?
We strongly advise against it. Without the right tools and experience, it's easy to strip bolt holes, crack slate, or damage the frame. Stripped bolts are the most common issue we see from DIY teardowns, and they make reassembly far more expensive. Professional disassembly costs far less than repairing the damage from doing it yourself.
How long does disassembly take?
Disassembly typically takes 30-45 minutes. Reassembly takes 1-2 hours including precision leveling. If you're having both done on different days (for example, before and after a remodel), we'll schedule each visit at your convenience.
Do you store the table between disassembly and reassembly?
We can coordinate storage if needed, or simply stack the components neatly in your garage or another room. For longer projects like full remodels, we can discuss off-site storage options. Contact us and we'll work out the best solution for your situation.
Will my table play the same after reassembly?
Absolutely. When done by a professional, a properly disassembled and reassembled table plays exactly the same. We re-shim the slate, fill seams with beeswax, and precision-level using a digital level. We don't leave until the ball rolls true.
