Service Terms & Policies

These terms govern your use of the Billiard Home website and our pool table services. By using our website or booking a service, you agree to these terms.

Quotes & Pricing

How quotes work

  • Free estimates: All quotes are provided free of charge with no obligation. Quotes are based on information you provide about the table, location, and service needed.
  • Factors that affect pricing: Distance, number of stairs, tight access (narrow hallways, elevators), table size and weight, felt color/material selection, and additional services requested.
  • Quote validity: Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued. Prices may be adjusted if job conditions differ significantly from what was described.
  • On-site adjustments: If our crew arrives and discovers conditions not disclosed during the quote (e.g., additional stairs, tight turns, table damage), the price may be adjusted before work begins. You will always be informed before any additional charges are applied.

Deposits & Payments

$50 Booking Deposit

A $50 deposit is required to secure your service appointment. This deposit is applied toward your total balance and is fully refundable if we are unable to complete the job.

Payment Methods

We accept cash, Zelle, Venmo, CashApp, and major credit cards. Full payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

Invoicing

Professional invoices are provided for all services. Invoices include itemized pricing, applicable California sales tax (7.75%), deposit deductions, and terms of service.

Cancellation

Cancellations made 24+ hours before the scheduled appointment receive a full deposit refund. Same-day cancellations or no-shows may forfeit the $50 deposit.

Used Inventory

  • Condition varies: All used pool tables are pre-owned and may show signs of normal wear. We provide honest condition notes and photos so you know exactly what you're getting.
  • What's included: Each listing clearly states what is included (e.g., balls, cues, cover, accessories). If it's not listed, it's not included.
  • Slate type: We always disclose whether a table is genuine slate, synthetic slate, or MDF. We will never misrepresent a table's playing surface.
  • All sales final: Used table purchases are final once delivery and installation are complete. We encourage inspection before purchase and are happy to answer any questions beforehand.

Warranty & Liability

12-Month Service Guarantee

All installation and refelting services include a 12-month warranty. If your table settles, shifts, or develops leveling issues within 12 months of our service, we will return and fix it at no additional cost. This warranty covers workmanship only and does not cover damage caused by moving the table, flooding, or other external factors.

Property Protection

We are fully licensed and insured. Our crew uses professional floor protection, door frame guards, and proper lifting techniques on every job. In the unlikely event of property damage during service, our insurance covers repairs. Customers should disclose access constraints, hazards (pets, wet floors, low clearance), and any pre-existing damage before service begins.

Limitation of Liability

Billiard Home's liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Pre-existing table damage or structural issues with your floor/home are not covered under our service warranty.

Scheduling & Service Area

  • Service area: We serve all of Southern California including San Diego, Los Angeles, Orange County, and the Inland Empire. Jobs outside our standard service area may incur additional travel fees.
  • Scheduling: Appointments are scheduled based on availability. We provide a service window and will communicate any delays. Weekend and holiday appointments may be available upon request.
  • Access requirements: Customers are responsible for ensuring clear access to the service location. This includes clearing pathways, providing parking for our truck, and ensuring someone 18+ is present during service.
  • Weather & delays: Services may be rescheduled due to severe weather or unsafe conditions. We will notify you as soon as possible and reschedule at no additional cost.

Website Use

  • Content ownership: All content on this website including text, images, logos, and portfolio photos is the property of Billiard Home and may not be reproduced without written permission.
  • Accuracy: We make every effort to ensure information on our website is accurate and up-to-date. However, prices, availability, and service details may change without notice.
  • AI assistant: Our chat assistant (Ace) provides helpful information and estimates but is not a substitute for a formal quote. All pricing discussed in chat should be confirmed through an official quote or invoice.
  • Third-party links: Our website may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.
