How much does it cost to move a pool table?
Local moves start at $349 for a 7ft table, $395 for 8ft, and $499 for 9ft. This includes full disassembly, transport, reassembly, and precision leveling. Stairs are an additional $50 per flight.
Can I move a pool table myself?
We strongly advise against it. Pool tables weigh 700-1,000 lbs, and the slate pieces crack easily if mishandled. Improper disassembly can strip bolt holes and ruin cushions. The cost of repair far exceeds the cost of professional moving.
How long does a move take?
Disassembly takes about 30-45 minutes. Reassembly and leveling at the new location takes 1-2 hours depending on conditions. Total time is typically 2-4 hours including transport.
Should I refelt my table during the move?
Yes! Since the table is already apart, it's the perfect time to add new felt. You save on labor since we don't have to disassemble twice. We offer 20+ colors in standard and premium cloth.
Do you move pool tables with stairs?
Absolutely. We move tables up and down stairs regularly. There's a $50 surcharge per flight of stairs at either location. Basements, second floors, tight hallways - we handle it all.
