Does Arizona heat affect pool table cushion rubber?
Yes. Sustained temperatures above 100°F — common in Scottsdale garages and non-climate-controlled rooms — accelerate rubber breakdown and cause dead bounces. We recommend K-66 pro-grade cushion rubber ($280–$400 for a full set of 6 rails) and keeping your table in an air-conditioned space. If your cushions are already dead, we can replace them during a service call.
